The Clinton-Bush-Obama sellout

We found out this week that computer spies, who experts suspect are from China, have infiltrated the production process of the F-35 fighter jet. It turns out, according to a story in the Wall Street Journal, that part of the production process for the F-35 takes place in Turkey. Our new Muslim ally. The same country which just a few weeks ago Barack Obama visited. Remember when he went to the mosques in Turkey and took off his shoes? You know, that Turkey.

Now when George W. Bush tried to give the port contracts for the United States of America to the Kingdom of Dubai, I Michael Savage told you that they would try to use that position to infiltrate security and get at national secrets. I knew at that time there was a serious threat that they could sneak a Trojan Horse through the port security system.

Well, thanks to the alert members of The Savage Nation, the Dubai Ports fiasco was defeated. But now it looks like the Chinese have snuck a Trojan Horse through our computer security system. And how did they manage to do it? If the information from the Wall Street Journal this week is correct and Turkey now makes many of the components for the F-35 fighter, it seems very likely that the Muslim Trojan horse, which was stopped during the Dubai ports scandal, has now found a way to penetrate our systems through the auspices of our good Muslim allies in Turkey.

So how on earth did it happen that key components for one of our top military projects got outsourced to a Muslim nation? Nobody seems to know. Although maybe the fact that George W. Bush, the good conservative, pushed for closer trade relations with Turkey. For George W. Bush apparently it was all about the bottom line.

Not our national line of defense. In the 1940s Arthur Miller wrote a play called "All My Sons." It depicted a corrupt war profiteer who knew he had manufactured a set of faulty aircraft parts, but sent them to the Air Force to be put in airplanes anyway. As a result, the airplanes crashed, killing American troops. But truth is stranger than fiction. In the story the corrupt war profiteer gets his just desserts, but in this case, it seems that the villains got only rewarded. George W. Bush, who opened up close trade relationships with Turkey, has now retired to Texas where he lives in luxury off of speaking fees and will get Secret Service protection for the rest of his life.

What do we get? What does the citizens of the United States get? We get compromised security. We get a fighter jet that the Chinese can take out at any time because of their intimate knowledge of it. We get a bill for a 3 or 4 trillion-dollar bailout. And we get to kiss the behind of our so-called Muslim allies in Turkey to thank them for helping the Chinese destroy our national security. In short, we get screwed. We get sold out. All for the bottom line. The same bottom line that Clinton sold us out for by signing NAFTA. The same bottom line that Bush sold us out for when his cronies gobbled up the profits from Turkey. The same bottom line that Obama is selling us out for when he takes his shoes off in the mosque of the country that stabbed us in the back.

The real year of the woman

In 1992, the leftist media declared that it was the year of the woman because five women were elected to the U.S. Senate. That year, the United States had Patty Murray, Carol Moseley Braun, Barbara Mikulski, Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer inflicted on them. They said that this would make it a kinder Congress, a gentler Congress. Well, 17 years later, four of those five are still there. And they’ve been joined by other, mostly leftist women. And instead of a kinder, gentler Congress, we have a meaner, more corrupt Congress.

Now, 17 years after the year of the woman, we have the revelation that Dianne Feinstein has used her position to siphon and earmark funds for her husband’s company. Feinstein routed $25 billion in taxpayer money to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, which had just awarded her husband Richard Blum’s real estate firm a lucrative contract to sell foreclosed properties at compensation rates that were far above the going rate. And of course, this isn’t the first tale of corruption that’s come out of the Feinstein camp. There have been numerous stories of conflict of interest that have stemmed from Richard Blum’s connections with communist China. You scratch Dianne’s back and apparently, she’ll scratch yours.

And 17 years after the year of the woman, we also have the case of Jane Harman, who was caught on a wiretap offering to help the lobbying firm AIPAC, the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee, in exchange for getting her a key position on a committee. A clear cut case of corruption if ever there was one. But of course, she gets on television and says the issue is not her corruption, but the fact that she was wiretapped.

So they said that once more leftist women were in Congress there would be more cooperation. Instead, there’s more corruption. Looks like in the wake of the Feinstein and Harman scandals, that this is the real Year of the Woman.

The New Royalists

We've seen a lot in the last week about people protesting more government control and increased taxes. The tea parties last week showed us that the independent spirit of America is alive and well and won't be shackled by Obama and his neo-Marxists so easily. The protestors at the tea parties were harkening back to the Boston Tea Party, a tax protest which occurred just prior to the American Revolution. But the history goes back a lot further than that.

In the England of the early 1500s, the Tudor king, Henry the Eighth had decided to break with the Catholic Church and form the Protestant Church of England. The changes that were happening as a result were disconcerting to many British subjects. The people of York, for example, were predominantly Catholic and were concerned that they would face oppression under the new Protestant regime. They disliked Henry's anti-Catholic stances. They were worried they would not be able to worship as they pleased. And, just as we see today, they feared that new and burdensome taxes would be imposed upon them.

So there was an uprising in York in the north of England. A man named Robert Aske led 9,000 followers and took over the city. At first, Henry promised them their own separate parliament and gave a pardon to all who had participated in the uprising. But as soon as a new uprising took place, the king abandoned his promises and had Robert Aske and other leaders of the uprising killed.

We are seeing something similar develop today. Today we have a new administration in place that promises change we can believe in. King Henry promised the Catholics of his time the same thing. But in the end, the only thing they got was death and taxes. The elites ignore us today just as they did then. And though they may not be claiming the divine right of kings, the Obamas and the Madoffs and the Soros' of the world seem to be claiming the divine right of bling. They take the bling – you get nothing.

Big Sister is Watching You (Part 2)

I told you on The Savage Nation about a report called the Modern Militia Movement, from the Missouri Information Analysis Center. It said that if you display political paraphernalia supporting a third party candidate, or you have what’s referred to as subversive literature, you could well be a member of a domestic paramilitary group.

But this most recent report from the Department of Homeland Security and Big Sis Janet Napolitano goes even further. It ends on an ominous note. It says, “DHS … will be working with its state and local partners over the next several months to ascertain with greater regional specificity the rise in rightwing extremist activity in the United States, with a particular emphasis on the political, economic, and social factors that drive rightwing extremist radicalization. This isn’t change we can believe in. This is Janet Reno on steroids.

The iron heel is starting to come down. The Homeland Security Department and these fusion centers were not created by Obama, but were created by George W. Bush. And while Obama may ultimately be responsible for suppressing third parties and anybody else whose thinking is out of line with the Marxist mainstream, it was Bush that started the process. So I don’t want to hear from lock step Republicans who insist that this is all Obama’s doing. Both sides are to blame. Bush started it, but Obama may finish it, with Big Sis at his side.

Even the Communist ACLU has responded to some of these reports by saying that it crosses the line and shows a disregard for civil liberties. So dissidents on the left and dissidents on the right agree for once. But the government media complex, the Bush-Obama crowd, seems to be just fine with the idea of sending you up the river if you support a third party or oppose gay marriage. They’re OK with putting you under surveillance if you have, quote, subversive literature, unquote. Or if you happen to support the wrong Republican member of Congress, look out; your next vote may be your last.

Big Sister is Watching You (Part 1) In George Orwell’s book "1984" the slogan of the dictatorship was “Big Brother Is Watching You.” In Obama’s America, Janet Napolitano is in charge of homeland security, so the slogan could well be changed to “Big Sister Is Watching You.” It turns out that Big Sis has just issued a report warns against the possibility of violence by so-called "right-wing extremists." And what does Big Sis say these right-wingers are concerned about? Illegal aliens, the increasing power of the federal government, gun grabs, abortion and the loss of U.S. national sovereignty. In other words, anyone who is worried about preserving our borders, language, and culture is on Big Sis’ watch list. But here’s something else that the headlines don’t tell you. The report says that these dangerous right wingers engage in “exploitation of social issues such as … same-sex marriage.” What this means is that even though state after state has rejected gay marriage every time it has been put to a vote of the people, if you oppose the destruction of traditional marriage, if you oppose the gay mafia, then you are suspect. If you aren’t happy with her “lifestyle choice” Big Sis will put you on her list. It seems that rogue homosexual elements within Homeland Security are engaging in extra-constitutional activity. Where is the Republican Party to protect us from this rogue Obama government? Who will be next on the list? The Navy SEALs that shot the Somali pirates? Talk show hosts? Only Big Sis knows for sure. This is not the first time this has come up. Last month, I told you on The Savage Nation about “fusion centers.” What’s a fusion center you ask? They’re a set of local intelligence centers across the country created by Big Sis and the Department of Homeland Security to combat terrorism and related criminal activity. I told you that, according to a report by one of these fusion centers, if you’re an anti-abortion activist, if you’ve supported third party presidential candidates like Chuck Baldwin or Bob Barr, if you believe in the idea that the U.S., Mexico and Canada will someday form a North American Union, then you may be specially targeted by Big Sis. And now we know the problem is even worse than we thought.

Obama and the pirates

The United States of America has triumphed over the pirates. As you’ve heard by now, the Muslim malcontents had a machine gun leveled at the captured captain's back on their boat, and U.S. Navy snipers killed them with a single bullet each. Captain Richard Phillips was freed five days after his ship was hijacked off the Somali coast.

The real credit here goes to the Navy SEALs who shot these pirates. They performed their duties superbly and gave honor to their country’s name. And we should also salute Obama for his resolve in ending the pirate takeover of the cargo vessel and the killing of the pirates. However, if we ask the question, “Has Obama faced his first military challenge and won?” The answer is: Absolutely not. This was not a real military challenge. It was a piracy challenge. Obama’s first military challenge was from North Korea. Kim Jong Mentally Ill fired a rocket and Obama failed to stop him from doing so and failed to act in any meaningful way. That can not be forgotten in the euphoria of the moment.

When President Reagan sent U.S. Air Force planes to bomb terrorist sites in Libya in 1986, he did real damage to the dictator Ghadafi’s ability to launch terrorist attacks. Libya was no longer viewed as a serious terrorist threat after this point. While it reflects well on the U.S. Military, the killing of these pirates won’t put a stop to the actions of others just like them. Their infrastructure remains intact. Their ability to strike remains undiminished. And the crews of these ships remain unarmed.

Obama is talking about launching a land attack on the bases of these Muslim pirates. If he does that, he will be taking a real step towards making the world a safer place. But if he leaves it at this, he’ll be showing that though he wants the glory, he doesn’t have the guts to go after a real victory.



Obama and Cuba

Barack Obama announced that he will loosen restrictions on Cuba. B.O. is repealing of limits on how many times Americans can visit family in Cuba and how much money Americans can send to Cuba. Furthermore, these changes are timed around Obama’s first trip to Latin America. Is this about getting good American policy or getting an endorsement from Castro and Chavez?

These measures stop short of ending the embargo of Cuba, and because of that, some members of Congress claim that these are inadequate half-steps. Others, including, Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey – a Cuban American – say that this is the wrong way to go. Menendez rejects loosening restrictions on Cuba as a gift to a regime that continues to murder and jail those who go against the Castro brothers.

What I, Michael Savage, say is that there is an enormous danger here. While it’s true that we might make Cuba a more democratic place by dropping these restrictions, couldn’t it also be true that we could turn ourselves into a more communistic state at the same time? And beyond that, the flow of people who are relatives is likely to increase the flow of drugs to America because Cuba is a well- known transit point for cocaine coming out of South America. And while this might be good for Hugo Chavez, it won’t be good for us.

Our president may have good intentions in taking this action. But the road to hell is paved with good intentions. And any move in this direction must protect the best interests of the United States, not of Fidel and Raul Castro.

The Navy vs. The Pirates:
How the mighty have fallen

For the first time in 200 years, a U.S. merchant vessel has been taken by pirates. Now the brave American crew of this merchant vessel, the Maersk Alabama, was able to overpower the pirates and retake the ship. But in the process, the pirates escaped with the captain of the ship, Richard Phillips.

There are many questions which this incident raises. First of all, why was the crew on board this vessel not armed so they could prevent this sort of hijacking? I heard a reporter say that the ships were given water cannons to defend themselves from pirates. That’s wonderful. Maybe our merchant fleet and the U.S. Navy can start arming themselves with water cannons and water balloons in order to gently discourage our enemies from attacking us. And on top of that, some idiot ship owner whose boat was taken over last year got on Fixed News and said that these crews shouldn’t be armed. With idiots like this in positions of power, it’s no wonder that these pirates sense weakness and prey on our vessels.

A second key question here is, what are the U.S. government and the Navy doing to stop the situation? Well at this point, the Navy has sent the destroyer U.S.S. Bainbridge to “track” the boat that the pirates are holding the captain on. What has happened to what was once the most powerful navy in the world? During his presidency, Theodore Roosevelt, who talked softly but carried a big stick, sent the “Great White Fleet” of the United States on a tour around the world. He displayed American power openly so that pirates and petty dictators would fear to attack us. And now we just “track” our enemies instead of attack our enemies.

It seems that our Navy has become nothing more than an extended form of welfare so that certain groups in our country can have better access to healthcare. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

I told you months ago on The Savage Nation that the U.S. Navy was created in the early 1800’s to combat the Barbary pirates that were attacking our merchant ships from North Africa. These were Muslim pirates, just as the pirates who are attacking our vessels from Somalia are Muslim pirates. And it seems now that months after I told you these facts, the rest of the media has caught up because now I am hearing the same lines spouted by the hemorrhoid with ears on Fixed News.

But the main point is that Thomas Jefferson created our Navy to confront exactly this kind of situation. And now we seem unable to deal with basic problems that we though we had solved 200 years ago. Back then we had real statesmen who were willing to take real action. Today we have Hillary Clinton. She’s not angrily demanding the release of the captain and threatening to use the full force of the U.S. military to wipe them off the face of the earth. Instead she’s saying that we are going to partner up with other countries in order to stop the problem. We’ve gone from powering up to partnering up in one generation.

And now we hear that the FBI is assisting the U.S. Navy in securing the release of the captain from the pirates. This is not a law enforcement issue, this is a military issue. We don’t want police action, we want combat action. We need to retaliate against these Muslim pirates with full military force to let them know that they cannot do this. But instead it seems that we have an administration in place that would rather walk the plank instead of pulling rank. Let’s have some pirate music.
