SWINE FLU OR SWINISH THINKING?

So it appears now that the swine flu, which I have dubbed the Janet Napolitano Flu, is now in the verge of becoming a world wide pandemic. People have now died on American soil as the result of this disease, which if handled properly could easily have been kept out. Government offices and restaurants are being closed across Mexico. At latest, count 16 states in this country have closed schools. But what should have been closed first and foremost were the borders. Stop people from Mexico, where the disease started, from coming into the United States and spreading it further. Close down all trade and travel between the United States and Mexico. All the known cases of this disease can be traced directly to someone who had traveled to our “good neighbor” to the south.

But the government has ignorantly and stupidly refused to do the very thing that is necessary for survival. Again, its liberalism has proved to be a mental disorder. Piggish thinking is enabling the spread of the swine flu. You have Obama saying that it wouldn’t do any good to close the borders because that would be closing the barn door after the horses got out.

Ignorance! Stupidity! At that point why didn’t some journalist ask the wonderful Mr. Obama a simple question? What about additional cases of swine flu that will come into the United States from Mexico to spread the disease even further? It may be in the country now, but wouldn’t it prevent more illness and more deaths if they were to shut down the borders to stop the contagion? Apparently not.

Apparently all the crooked employers in the US that employ illegal aliens think their bottom line is more important than thousands of people dying in this country because of swine flu. Apparently the owners of companies who send goods into the United States with Mexican truckers think that their business trumps the health of American citizens. And apparently the airlines are so concerned with their business that they wouldn’t dare allow this administration to stop their flights even if it means the health of thousands of American could be preserved.



OBAMA MAKES CHRYSLER AN OFFER IT CAN'T REFUSE

Barack Obama made Chrysler an offer it couldn’t refuse today, and in doing so it put the American taxpayer on the hook for another 8 billion dollars. Because Chrysler was too big to fail, and apparently Chrysler was to big to fail, and apparently this was too big a deal to pass up.

Here’s what happened, Chrysler over the years let greedy unions and overzealous environmental regulators take it down until it was no longer able to make a profit. And now that they are in a position of weakness on the verge of death as a corporation, Obama makes them an offer. He said partner with Fiat, a European car company, let them take you over, and I’ll add an extra 8 billion dollars to help things along. Either do that, or die. And so Chrysler today is accepting the only option that Obama gave them. Which is to take more public money, and to give leftist Europe another claim on the United States of America. And here is something interesting that Obama said that may indicate the direction he intends to drive Chrysler in if an alliance with fiat wasn’t enough. He said that Chrysler moved too slowly to adapt to the future. Designing and building cars that were less fuel efficient than foreign competitors.

So in other words Obama as a part of this deal it seems clear, is going to demand that they produce only environmentally friendly cars. In other words, as history has shown, cars that Americans don’t want to buy. And also, don’t forget who owns Chrysler. Majority ownership of the company was purchased in 2007 by the Cerberus Capital Management Group. And who heads the Cerberus Capital Management Group? Why John Snow, George W Bush’s former treasury secretary is the chairman of that company.

So again the massive two headed beast of the American government. One Democrat head, and one Republican head is looking after its own future. Obama is taking care of Bush’s cronies by giving them 8 billion dollars in tax payer money, and once again cronyism reigns supreme in the United States of America.
